Dr. Jun Ki Kim

Dr. Jun Ki Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and moved to America at the age of 11. He completed his undergraduate education at the South Carolina Honors College – University of South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Jun Ki Kim then received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with multiple honors. Dr. Kim proceeded to pursue his passion for surgery at New York Medical College/ Westchester Medical Center Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program, serving as chief resident in his last year. During this time as a resident, Dr. Kim received extensive training in full-scope oral & maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia/ sedation dentistry.

Dr. Kim chose oral and maxillofacial surgery because it combines the precision of surgery with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. He finds the greatest satisfaction in helping patients overcome pain, restore function, and regain confidence through procedures ranging from routine oral surgery to complex full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Kim is dedicated to delivering compassionate, individualized care and is committed to providing the highest standard of treatment to every patient. He looks forward to serving the community at Sussex Dental Center.

In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys reading, cooking, and staying active.
